A day of rest

Today was such a peaceful day, though really hot!  The morning started out great and after a yummy breakfast and starting reading my next book I decided to go for a run again today.  Though it was a good run, the heat really got to me.  It was about 90 degrees today and sunny...all day long.  After my run and spending a couple hours trying to cool off I did some more reading, watched a couple episodes of Planet Earth (love that program so much!) and phoned my grandma so she wouldn't get lonely this Memorial Day weekend when so many others have plans out of town.  Carsten made a great dinner tonight, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and now I am planning on sitting out on the balcony and enjoy the evening, while Carsten watches a popular German crime series.  Tomorrow I am back at school and then my normal routine of homework and cleaning in the afternoon.  We have two more holidays in June, which means I have some short weeks ahead :)
