So tired this morning!

Last night turned out to be quite a lot of fun and also a very late night. We went to Carsten's co-worker's place at 9:30pm and since it was such a great night we sat out on the patio and drank beer, ate chips and chatted. Basically the talking was only in German with a few brief moments of English. I tried a new beer tonight which was a Grapefruit beer. All I will say is don't judge it until you try it! It was so good and refreshing, if beer can be refreshing. What am I saying I am in Germany, of course beer is refreshing!!! Anyway, the night initially was difficult for me to follow all the conversations, plus I feel nervous to talk as I feel as though I am on a stage and everyone is waiting for me to make a mistake with how I say things. But as the night progressed I felt more comfortable, plus the co-worker's partner started to talk with me one-on-one and that is much easier for me when I have to speak German. For Carsten the time seemed to fly by although I was quite aware of how late it had become. In the end we made it home around 2am! But I would say it was worth it :)
