The rest of Saturday

Though their was a dance happening tonight, neither one of us was really in the mood for that; hard to believe I didn't want to shake my money maker I know! Anyway, we decided to go to another store to check out TVs and a coffee machine and then we rented a movie to watch tonight. One of the things I really like about renting movies here is that if you pick a new release movie and return it the same day it only costs 1.75!! That's a bargain!! Well, the movie we (basically me) chose was Journey To The Center Of The Earth. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Brendan Fraser. The movie was just okay, with some interesting parts but nothing too special. I have never seen a movie in 3-D before and though I tried with this one, it just gave me such a headache that we decided to switch disks and stick with the 2-D. In the end it was mildly entertaining at best. I haven't read the book and was unaware that people still believe in a "Hollow Earth." So, I guess I even learned a little something with this film :)

After the film I decided to have another Golden Girls mini-marathon. Thankfully I own all season of the show so I can have these marathons for days to come!! But I probably won't, I said probably.
