A pretty productive day

Today was my official first day without class; it seems to me that I shouldn't count the weekend since I would have that off anyway. So, what did I do? I slept in for starters. After that I ate some breakfast, cleaned the apartment, and then went jogging. Later in the afternoon I applied for a job (in Chicago) and then went to meet Carsten after he finished work so we could buy some nails and a new kitty litter box. Exciting stuff there, huh?!?

So, I am sure some of you are wondering why apply for a job in Chicago. Well, I don't know exactly how to answer that on here, so for the moment I won't. But what I will say is that I think the bottom line is really Sallie Mae. She has a lot of control over my life and clearly I need to be employed to satisfy her and her greedy ways :)

Tonight I watched a soccer match between Dusseldorf and Hamburg. I really love watching soccer and enjoyed the match quite a lot. I don't understand all the rules, but never-the-less it is still pretty entertaining for me.
