Today I got up and out of bed early, or at least earlier than usual. I made Carsten breakfast (Frühstück) of coffee, toast, yogurt and a kiwi. I got him off to work and now the day is mine. We are going to his mom's place for a vacation and though we were planning on leaving tonight, we have decided to leave tomorrow morning. So, today I will clean the cat litter, pack our clothes, clean the apartment (so it is clean when we return) and pick out music for our 5 hour car ride. I am looking forward to being at his mom's place, as the cats like it there a lot and it means I don't have to cook and clean. We are hoping for a lot of relaxing, quiet time while we are there.The picture her eon the right is from a tree right outside my bedroom window. I have been watching this tree and waiting for it to bloom, which it finally did on Tuesday. I think it is really quite beautiful and it has a wonderful fragrance. I decided to share its beauty :)

Thanks for sharing the picture. One can think hard on that and write a short story about this here tree. But since I have finished one novel and sent it out already I truly cant stop working on the second one so the story of this tree shall have to just be an idea. Have a great time this weekend.
Congrats on finishing a novel. I am in the process of writing a book. Maybe we can talk sometime about how to get it published, as I fear that will be quite the obstacle.
